FORESTS MAY BE OUR LAST STAND FOR HUMAN SURVIVAL

But only if we let them stand...

My Forest is AERF’s initiative to curb the rampant deforestation in the unprotected forests of the Northern Western Ghats by channeling fund towards conservation agreements with the private forest land owners and for building sustainable forest-based enterprises in partnership with them to ensure that the invaluable forests are not resorted to being a logging farm in times of financial need.

We invoke participation from every environmentally aware citizen to help us in the herculean task of saving and regenerating these forest patches which lack government support but are immensely important biodiversity havens, carbon sinks and wildlife corridors in the Northern Western Ghats.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T ADDRESS THE ISSUE?

SAVE A FOREST
Preserving what we already have is the easiest and fastest step in forest conservation. More so, since old growth trees sequester almost 50% more carbon than young trees.
